An early flame, way ahead of its time. 'Nightmare', produced by Alberto Bertapelle, was an international hit that caused a craze around the 'pizzicato strings' sound. In the past decade, Brainbug's 'Nightmare' grew out to an absolute classic. This timeless classic saw its re-release in 2010, with a diverse remix package that proved the track's longevity.
After last year's remix package, which didn't include a new version of the tracks original mix, Brainbug decided to add a modern touch to their classic. While focusing on the tracks extraordinary synths, he added astrong female vocal to the track, reflecting the sound of now and then -- together.
Of course Brainbug also invited a strong army of musicians to remix the new 'Nightmare'. Mischa Daniels' 'Voodoo Mix' features his remarkable, energetic sound, without leaving the original's sound-path too much. DJ Rabano, on the contrary, added a completely different sound to 'Nightmare'. His translation became a rousing house track that will make any party heat up to its boiling point. The Point Zero Mix and No ID Arena Remix also await you with outstanding sounds to, welcoming back this 1996 classic.
