@Dojocho Agreed ... nice guy ... good skills ... LOUSY teacher (so sorry).
I have watched several of his knot vids and the last thing you want to show a first-timer is THE WRONG WAY. His hands are often in the way, as well. He should shoot over his shoulder and only depict the correct way to do it ... OR ... STOP TEACHING !
Confusing noobs does not help anyone and only makes the instructor appear to be inept. All I know (now?) ... Rope can be spliced and splicing is stronger.
