Dr. Farzad Mostashari, National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, delivers a keynote speech at the Northern Virginia Community College graduation ceremony, which is among the first graduating classes of the Community College Consortia Program.

He reminds graduates that in order to successfully implement electronic health records, they will have to work together and "constantly, attentively, [and] proactively learn what works." Dr. Mostashari explains that now is the time for implementation and action and encourages graduates to continually strive for improvement in the work that they do.
