[LG Press Conference] 'Smartly Touchable, More usable'

LG Electronics shared its future technologies and trend under the theme of 'Smartly Touchable, More Usable' during a press conference at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona, Spain. Ma Chang, VP for marketing strategy of LG Electronics Mobile Communications, announced that LG will introduce phones that maximize user convenience through advanced features and optimized user interfaces.

At the show, LG showed its stylish design line-up of mobile products from the 2005 to 2007 while mentioning about the future trends are based on insight from customers and usability.

According to the company, LG sold 80.5 million handsets globally in 2007, up 27 percent over 2006. Sales revenue also increased 20 percent from last year to USD 11.2 billion with a strong operating profit margin of 8.1 percent.
