I made this video from pictures and shots from the 1938 movie "Marie Antoinette"with Norma Shearer as the Queen and beautiful Anita Louise as her faithfull friend madamela princesse de Lamballe, who was brutaly murdered and mutilated at the Terror of the French Revolution. As history sais:"the head of Lamballe was carried througt Paris to be shown to Marie Antoinette..."
placed in Lacrymosa from Evanescence
I do not own any rights to this video. It was made for entertainment use only, not commercial.

  • I'm a huge Anita Louise fan, and I enjoyed this video very much. You should be commended for your efforts on this.

I also enjoyed the Mozart Requiem "rip-off". Who was that musical group? It seemed to give the right amount of tragedy to the still photos. Thanks, again.

  • You´re very kind with me I must say,,...I do thank you very much!))the Music score is "Evanescence-Lacrymosa"and the picks are from different sites and movie from WMM.I´m glad you like it..in this film Anita was sweet and lovely playing highly emotional princesse de Lamballe, who was brutally murdered...

  • Princess de Lamballe most angelic of ladies here,a lady amongst angels.

  • What Divine Gowns; every Lady would love them; but what sad and heartbreaking ending...

    However,long live to the monarchy!

  • God Bless the beautiful Princess de Laballe. One can only imagine the terror she felt as she met her brutal demise. Gang-raped, mutilated, hacked to pieces, her beautiful head severed and placed on a pike and displayed before her friend. Such a far cry from her days at Versailles, wearing the latest fashions and attending elegant balls with the elite of Paris, who ultimately would share her same horrible fate. What a dark era of history this was...

  • Please learn French before inserting such gross grammatical mistakes!

  • The French Revolution was bloody like no other at the time. Those behind it murdered the intelligensia or aristocracy of France. By doing this, they destroyed much of the heart of French culture at the time. France has never recovered. It is a wonderful country with a sadness about it's murdered people. Pieces are missing still today. This was a nice video you posted on Madame Lambale and of course, Queen Marie Antoinette.

  • This was really a beautiful montage, thanks for putting so much into this!

  • @pconde619

There was a french movie about an English women in France during the revolution nad how she escaped death. Do you happen to know the name? It was a wonderful movies and for the life of me I can't remember the name of it. Please Help!!!

  • The Princesse de Lamballe was one of the earliest victims of that barbarous period of French history. After her brutal murder the floodgates opened to state sponsored murder and genocide. France's name was forever disgraced.

  • Qué bello vestuario, qué bellas mujeres, qué elegancia....

  • Il y a beaucoup d'erreurs mais c'est très beau quand même, très émouvant

  • quien canta la cancion de fondo de este video?
