@mirageF1AZ I actually agree with you on that part. Just like Kempo is popular here in America!
-
@dakentaijutsu2010 There might be a few kempo dojos here, but shotokan is by FAR the most popular form of karate over here.
-
@mirageF1AZ you don't have kempo in South Africa?
-
@dakentaijutsu2010 Okey...Its the same in shotokan more or less, depends on the individual.
-
@mirageF1AZ it takes about over 3 yrs to get your brown belt. & takes about 5 to 6 yrs for black belt!
-
It depends on how fast you progress. It took me over 3 yrs to get my brown belt. & kempo is a style of Karate!
-
@dakentaijutsu2010 I am from South-Africa. I dont know anything about kempo, all I know is that its almost like karate. How long does it take to become a brownbelt in kenpo?
-
@mirageF1AZ you're right, I am from America, & I understand about karate & I'm only a brown belt in Kempo. But where are you from?
-
@dakentaijutsu2010 I have studdied shotokan since 1996. I am currently a Blackbelt. I'll be doing my next grading in February. I take it you are from America, I dont know what style of shotokan there is to be found in America but if you can find a KWF shotokan dojo it will be great because they are the most traditional hardest form of shotokan and their philosophy and training goes towards to kill with one technique. Ossu!
i love martial arts but what i dont love are all the people(mostly kids) that see martial arts as real fighting or honorable fighting if you win a fight no matter how you do it your the better fighter. now trust me i dont use any cheap tactics but if someone punches u in the balls or hits your eyes its the fault of the reciever for his inability to dodge or block it. its simple and plain the winner is the winner stop complaining about loseing
