Petar Lubarda o svojim počecima.

How I began. That was in 1925, when I arrived to Belgrade. It was the Belgrade artistic school. My first professor was paintress Beta Vukanovi}, that at present time still is vivid, actual... I maybe didn't stay there for a long time and went to Paris. There I worked, and exhibited sometimes. All of this is not so interesting to me today, because you know, that was a long time ago... But, what I was interested in the work was to master a materia, a direct one in contact with nature so I could later easier create what I wanted. And I thought that that year, between the Two World Wars... In that sence of the word I worked... After the war I, at least others said so, I don't know... they said I made a break-through.
