"we don't like being lied to"
THANK YOU.

qtronman: Umm, no she isn't. Not even close.
she was on CNBC a while back and is quoted as saying. "I've been very into Ayn Rand, so I've read "The Fountainhead" and then "Atlas Shrugged." I just think she has a very interesting philosophy. You re-evaluate your own life and what's important to you."
Aside from that, lionsgate is planning on producing Atlas Shrugged, with Angelina set to play Dagny Taggart...

"ripping into Kant to sell books..."
If that is all that is behind their position, why Kant?
MrCropper 4 years ago
Hi MrCropper, thanks for watching my vid. I think they both attack Kant because they don't agree with him. But, lets face it, a large part of the pleasure of reading either Rand or Rorty is how well the express themselves and how they pwn their opponents.

(cont to MrCropper) so I don't think that is _all_ there is to either Rand or Rorty's opinion of Kant, but I _do_ think it is why they both express themselves in the entertaining way they do. I don't think florid writing is a bad thing, I think its a good thing.
