Neal Barnard MD discusses the science behind food additions. Willpower is not to blame: chocolate, cheese, meat, and sugar release opiate-like substances. Dr. Barnard also discusses how industry, aided by government, exploits these natural cravings, pushing us to eat more and more unhealthy foods. A plant-based diet is the solution to avoid many of these problems. Neal Barnard is the founder of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM).

This is Dr. Barnard's COMPLETE presentation from the VegSource HEALTHY LIFESTYLE EXPO 2003. To get a copy of this talk on DVD and many others, visit the VegSource store, see https://secure2.vegsource.com/catalog/

  • @lovebigboobs29 I actually seriously doubt you even took the time to watch the video, you probably just heard Dr. Barnard was a vegan, read the video title and left your uneducated comment.

  • Wow! I've been vegetarian so far, I'm turning vegan after listening to this man. Not that I didn't know the bases of what he spoke about, just that he makes so much sense. So what, fermented tofu also smells like dirty socks, who needs cheese?!

  • @sugarmelonchewgumbon You've just shown me you are not so different from me honey, the sort of girl men you describe would be wise to stay far far away from, lest you vomit your own self loathing unto them... so tragic...

Well darling Jess, if your ideas of women is to be trophy wives, there ya go girl, I'd want nothing to do with them, they can skip me any day. And if you still believe in the reality of "perfect" (men or women), I can feel pity for your naivity...drooling over your cherised fantoms. poor thing.

In any case, you are the first to suffer from the poisounous hostility you bear, carrying THAT around, must be hard.
