  • ...why they dont develope 60x zoom HD camcorders or atleast 40.....they do only with 10x zoom?!

  • To make a HD camera with the same sensitivity at the sensor with a 40x optical zoom requires one of 2 things, either a much bigger camera so the same amount of light gets through more lense elements, which would keep the light level the same, or a smaller sensor, which would lead to a loss of low light performance.

  • Why in the full zoom the edges are a little purple?

  • It is a combination of 2 things, predominantely Chromatic abberation caused by the overexposed bright area behind the subject, also partially from the Electronic Stabiliser this camera employs.
