My video of Merideth Howard's funeral ceremony from my perspective as a new Patriot Guard Rider. Merideth was given a full funeral in September. This was the ash stattering ceremony. This was a big honor for me.

  • Thank you very much and thank you the Patriot Guard for being there and dedicating your time, you guys and women have a big heart like so many people. I sure wish these protester would understand the big heart our American soldiers have. It's ashame, but thank you for your time. Semper Paratus

  • Thank you very much for your comment. It is indeed a great honor.

  • Blockster911, Thanks for your support. I am an Iraq vet and I know how much civilians support the military, and us vets are all fully aware of those that don't support us. Thanks for all you do.

  • Thank you Matthew, I salute you.

  • Thank you for posting this, blockster911. I was actually deployed with SFC Howard in 06 as part of her reconstruction team in Afghanistan. I found your video quite by accident. I just joined the PGR myself in my home state and was searching to see if the PGR had attended her funeral. This video was exactly the encouragement I was looking for. Thank you again on behalf of PRT Mehtar Lam, and I'm sure on behalf of her. She was one of the best soldiers I've ever had the privilege of serving with.

  • Thank you for posting this. I am also a new PGR member in Washington State. I attended my first mission 9/22/09 and as you said, it is just an amazing honor to be a part of this group.

  • Hello fellow PGR, went on my first mission 3/10/09 after signing up the previous day. Hope you don't mind if i add your PGR video to my web site I am designing now...let me know. Stay strong and stay safe brother.

  • Ride on, Patriot Guard Riders!

I may not understand the American Patriotism, but your service to the families is priceless, and that's the most important thing. May your ride be always safe!

  • I've been a memebr for almost four years. I go to every mission I can get to but I have to say, I'm pleased at the fact, I've never had to experience protestors at any of the missions I've been to. I have heard they tried a few times but local residents kind of put a stop to that by showing up with shotguns int heir trucks. Needless to say, the protestors ran scared. Keep up the great work in your area.

  • Shushan6, and I suppose freedom is FREE? If I had a kid, if I had a WOMB, I imagine he'd be man enough to enlist. You are a coldblooded reptile if you support Shirley Phelps-Roper and her campaign of hatred. And keep away from that insurance company gekko as well, I heard he came out!

  • Yes they are blanks, that is why they have to re-cock every time.

  • Patriot riders. Thank you for being there..You guys have my ultimate and heartfelt thanks..
