In memory of Kim Dae Jung (김대중 님을 기억하며..)

This is my tribute to ex president Kim Dae Jung who passed away from heart attack caused by complications from pneumonia on the 18th of August 2009.
He will be remembered by many as a humanitarian whose effort in peaceful reconciliation with the North Korea has earned him a Nobel peace prize.
His vision and courage during his leadership has been an inspiration for many.

Kim Dae Jung brough back Korea from the financial disaster of the late 90's. This was partly the result that Korea had developed. It need to make corrections with the dealings of the Banks, Government and Chaebols. The way they deal with each other was the result of Park Chung Hee's development model.

@BadaExplorer Park Chung hee did do great things for the country but he had to trample on a lot of people's liberties and rights in the process. At least Kim Dae Jung had the courage to try something different. Unfortunately with the way North Korea has been built up giving them money they will figure out a way to squander it.

@BadaExplorer He tried that but it showed it didn't work. Nobody has figured out how to deal with North korea. Don't be so hard on him he just tried a different way to deal with Nk that didn't work. We know that NK is in a situation where they can't change because if they did North Koreans may find out how badly off they are in relation to the rest of the world and all that propaganda was a lie.

@KoreanPresident DJ was not nuts. His Sunshine policy was an attempt to deal with North Korea in a different way. Unfortunately it didn't work out. However you can't really fault him because North Korea,, nobody has figured out how to deal with North Korea because it is so reclusive state. China doesn't seem to have the leverage it used to and the same goes with Russia. Nobody knows how to deal with that state.

Kim Duh! Choong's idiotic SHOESHINE POLICY was an utter disaster, doomed to fail since it was conceived by his severely atrophied, demented brain. SHOESHINE POLICY was doomed because Kim Jong iL's shoes are covered with shit and human blood that no amount of shoe polish can conceal. Duh! only managed to get himself smeared with shit. Duh! and Kim Jong iL can only get the shit removed if all Koreans would spit on these two morons and douse them with hydrochloric acid.

Kim Duh! Choong will be remembered by many as a moron. He was such a moron that he opposed the visionary Park Jung Hee's spectacularly successful economic initiatives such as Korea's first national highway, its first steel mill and shipbuilding industry.

Hypocrisy, treachery and funnelling of hundreds of millions of dollars to Kim Jong iL led to the meaningless summit;  Kim Duh! in effect bought the No Bullshit Peace Price, which is without precedent.
