Today HTC announced their market cap and compared it to Nokia and RIM. And it shows how much HTC has grown over the past few years, they used to be this small company making Windows Phones and now they are this giant company making tons of Android smartphones. Their market cap is $33.88 billion.

The T-Mobile G2X was previously announced and showed off. It's basically an LG Optimus 2X, it has the same dual core Tegra 2 processor, and 4G support, and 4-inch WVGA display. It's coming to T-Mobile's network starting April 15th online, and April 20th in stores and will cost just $200 on contract.

In the past we've seen many Chrome OS tablet rumors, but they kind of went away when Android 3.0 Honeycomb was announced. We all thought Honeycomb was for tablets, and Chrome OS is for PCs, but that might not be the case. It looks like Chrome OS might be headed to tablets since an on screen keyboard is now part of the code.

  • @sandieblonde It would be nice if 4G was 20Mbps both ways and available everywhere. Then we'd be able to buy the plan on the phone and tether it to your computer. Yeah, everyone would move to that carrier if they did that.

  • whats the best phone overall tmobile offers right now? - how does that phone compare to other great phones out right now?

  • @fairladyz32TT At this point in time the G2X is probably the best since it has a Tegra 2 processor. And a lot of the Android phones on T-Mobile are just starting to get older so they're not quite as good. But if you don't mind waiting until June there is a phone called the HTC Sensation 4G coming and it's going to not only be the best on T-Mobile, but the best on the whole smartphone market.

  • @cusinndzl

cool... why the best? will it have the same capability to connect to a tv as the g2x does?

  • @fairladyz32TT I don't know about that but it has a 1.2GHz dual core processor which is pretty fast, Android 2.3 Gingerbread which is the latest version, a large qHD screen which is great, and it supports 4G for fast network speeds.
