Demi’s Pov

“you’re gonna be ok babe. Time goes by quickly, you wont even know im gone”,his lips trembling after every word. “really Joe?..u know how much i love you and hate to let you go”. He shut his eyes still trying to drain back the tears, but it didnt work this time. He held onto my face and kissed my forhead while pulling me close. I pulled away and looked him in the eye. “Promise me you’ll come back safe”, i said while trying so hard not to break down even more. “ i promise”. I leaned up and kissed him with so much force and passion. The perfect kiss. The one i was planning on cherishing for the rest of my life. The one that might actually be “THE LAST KISS”.

Those two words replayed in my head, “ i promise”, hoping he was right. Hoping to see my baby once again. I waved him goodbye as he approached the bus. i gave him a forced out smile because the last thing i want, is for him to see me torn and broken. Although thats exactly how i felt.
