My entry for the Fraser Institute's 2010 student video contest. Hope everyone enjoys. Also be sure to watch in HD.

Wish I'd known about this contest earlier.. had to sprint to get it done in time so it's still a bit rough around the edges.

Also note to the judges, the video should be 2:58 but somehow after rendering it got stretched into3:10.. if you're particularly stringent on the length of entries please feel free to disregard the first 5sec of intro.. and the last 5sec of credits :p

I would like to note as well that the music by Kevin Macleod is completely royalty-free and completely free to use with attribution (Which there is in the credits) and the footage from "Saluting Liberty" is in the public domain.

Lastly, be sure to press the 'like' button to increase my chances at winning the viewer's choice award!

  • this is really cool! great content, great typography.

    what software do you use?

  • @selinjessa Adobe Aftereffects CS5.. going to use some of the winnings from the contest to get CS6

  • Sorry buddy :/ - your entry is late.

  • @REALITYjk entry was originally submitted on the 30th, then was reuploaded on Dec 2nd in HD with permission of the contest organizer.

  • @AaronEins3 Yes but it is also 10 seconds to long.... I think they might be stringent on that.

  • @REALITYjk This has been addressed in the more info for the video. I'm starting to think someone is just worried that this might be giving their entry a run for its money ;p
