  • have you tried using different vessels and gluing them to the speaker so that the substance has a firm base for the resonance to vibrate through, if that makes sense. I just noticed in another vid the guy glued a lid to the speaker to make it integral.

  • @Turbonisoculus Yup; in a different experiment set, I actually rebuilt a speaker with the resonant platform taking the place of the cone.

  • Interesting stuff on the four vids. Have you tried experimenting with multiphonic sounds, like chords, dissonances and such?

  • No, just pure tones so far (I had just the one signal generator) and occasionally sweeps... if I get a decent chladny plate and driver put together later (as planned) I should give that a try.

  • la teoria della creazione dell'universo!!

  • dang......

  • I'd be curious to see the effect of harmonic resonances, perhaps even overtones (if possible), directed into various mediums. Good luck with your further exploits!

  • Oh, hang on a sec...all the dogs in my neighborhood are at my door.

  • play some music through that speaker
