perhaps..., but there is no benefit in keeping around cretins in a cage. i mean thats a lot of money these people will leach off of hard working people, money that can go toward the betterment of society.

I was pro-death penalty for a short time for much the same reason, but i now oppose it even for the worst of the worst because killing a person is NOT an act of punishment, it's an act of revenge, and justice should NEVER be about vengeance.

im kind of torn on this subject...
in extreme cases like a serial murder, or something of that type, not getting the death penalty?... i dont really want my tax dollars giving food and shelter to those types. maybe im just a cold hearted bastard =/ but i honestly think some people are better off dead. what is the argument against the death penalty? just that it is subjectively morally wrong??
