Nice lick... I like the suggestion about listening to jazz horn players for inspiration. I read an article sometime in the 90's in which Alex Skolnick credited lots of his later solo ideas with Testament as being the by-product of transposing Parker sax lines to the guitar. Thanks.

@resmoore Yeah that's definietly an option one shouldn't pass up. Skolnick has room to preach on it too...great player.
