Witness Father's Day Card (Poetry Performance 12-8-10)

Whitney (aka Whit-ness) performed this poem at the Wednesday night poetry slam at the Nuyorican Poets' Cafe. She made a triumphant return to the place. Scored a perfect 30 in the first round with this performance and used the previously posted "Addiction" to win the night's event. That led to Friday's slam which she also won to gain a spot in the Slam team semi-finals January 14th. Be there to whit-ness further greatness. She's finally starting to believe in her abilities and it's great to see. So proud lil sis!!!
