Animatronic T-Rex, Natural History Museum

On 21st December 2009 I visited one of my favourite places, the Natural History Museum of London. As usual I headed straight for the dinosaur exhibit and fought my way through the constant stream of people to get some footage of the animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex - probably the most popular exhibit they've ever had. The video really doesn't do it justice - in real life you could swear it was staring at you with hungry eyes!

Sorry for the rather grainy camera quality, it was the best I could ad lib at the time.

Most zoos that I've been to have advertised feeding times for certain animals. Would be cool if they could manage it w. this.

We have nothing so cool at the Smithsonian's Museum of Natural History, but I would recommend it nonetheless should you ever find yourself in or near Washington DC

Freakin' WOW! I've seen the Dino skeletons at places like The Smithsonian in Washington DC, but this brings it so much closer to real life, seeing it fully fleshed out and moving. Mega cool!
