ADSI on the CBS Evening News

American Defense Systems, Inc. ("ADSI") (AMEX: EAG), a leading provider of advanced transparent and opaque armor, architectural hardening and security products for Defense and Homeland Security, reported its protective glass that secured President-elect Barack Obama during his election night victory speech will be featured on "CBS Evening News" with Katie Couric tonight, January 15 at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time.

During the taping of the news segment, various pieces of ADSI protective glass were shot, including approximately 80 rounds at the company's Portable Transparent Ballistic Shield (PTBS). ADSI's President and CEO Anthony J. Piscitelli, COO Ferg Foley and the company's senior VP of research and development, Vic LaSala, were interviewed for the segment by Emmy Award-winning CBS News chief investigative correspondent, Armen Keteyian.
