  • Actually, it's Wednesday August 20th, and in a few hours (ie after we have eaten tea) you'll be getting an email about something you've been waiting for. ;) - Stu

  • EEEE!!! Now I won't be able to sleep!

Also, you *drink* tea, Stu... :-)

    Congratulations!!!

    ~Trav

  • I like the posters for Another Life :)

Oh God you put heaps on! How long was the dog licking your face for? lol

  • Thanks. I'm very impressed with myself over my neophyte Photoshop skills.

Actually, I accidentally didn't record most of the PB removal. The dogs weren't very good at it anyway. Pokey (the dog I mentioned a few months ago) would have been a LOT better :-)

  • haaapy dooogs...

  • The poster is great.

And I agree with e1b2w; I think you'd make a great villian. Good luck with your career.

  • I think your slanty smile and one eyebrow raise are endearing. And it is kind of minor, I don't notice a lot of the time. Maybe not for commercials, but in roles you should be fine.

  • I think it's really smart of you to acknowledge that once you've started getting cast, it'll actually be an asset. In the meantime, this is gonna sound weird, but look at Bob Saget. He's crass and vulgar, but he looks wholesome, so that wholesome image is how he was introduced to us. He can do other things, but he originally played to people's immediate face value impressions of him. Have you thought of doing that? Like, seek out the weird, offbeat neighbor characters, or something. I don't know

  • who are these casting directors that told you this? Are they the ones in your head?

  • :D all this video is lacking is grade jelly...maybe toasted bread..of course the passes of the hippie intro is going to be missed :{ so many emotions and no milk to wash them down with....(note to my brain one day you will comment to something that doesn't sound over the pg rating on the box)

  • Nonetheless Trav, your petty cool so keep your chin up. I couldn't tell until you said something, unfortunately, not all of us have that luxury. (I'm not turning this into feel sorry for yourself day, that was back in May)

  • Trav, I kinda know what you're going through with the whole appearance thing. I have pretty severe eczema which I know will severely hinder my broadcast journalism career once I graduate from college. But it is what I really want to do and am good at it, like you and entertainment. For me, I have to realize that I will be more behind the scenes then on camera, and maybe that is the route for you too. Another Life was great and I think you have talent in acting, but also in writing and filming.

  • I always thought you were so cool (and I was jealous) because you could do the one eyebrow thing. I hope I never made fun of you when we were kids.

  • Regarding the Bell's Palsy...I wonder if your "odd" look might serve you well as the villain or bad guy type? Not that you'd want to be stuck into playing only those kind of roles, but it could be something that, even if not originally intended by the writer or director, would add interest to the "villain".
