1 Laser MultiTouch Test

I have been developing the laser MultiTouch since last summer. I up-loaded the appearance of the experiment to youtube for the first time in March 2008. An acrylic panel was bought in a cheap general shop"Muji".I think that it is a good method that rearranges the diode of a cheap red laser module to a IR diode. I use 3-Terminal regulator to drive Ir diord.

I want to know how to make that screen panel. Do you put a paper on the acrylic panel so the projector can show the image?How exactly are you dispersing the laser evenly on the surface?Where did you get the laser?

you should use a higher framerate webcam :S

i think you should 1 either use the wiimote.

to allow tracking (only 4 dots)

(and if you use ir off course only ) :D

or the ps3 eye

can run 125fps :D

and IR filter can be removed :D

and works perfect :D

and even has a special touchlib version for itself :D

ps3 eye cam is not expensive either :D

when invisible laser light is applied to the finger, that is seen with the web cam :-)
