Total weight 650 grams of bell-metal alloy. It is interesting to consider what the bell-makers can make out of x amount of material. This same metal could be used to make singing bowls also. I go to Nepal every year to buy these and similar products. http://stores.ebay.com/myhouseimports

  • Right - that is where I bought these. As with all bowls and bells and gongs and such, the base price is set by the raw cost of the metal - which is based on copper. The prices go up every year. The challenge is to find a pair that don't use so much metal and still have an interesting sound domain - as here. Tony
