This is my rather shaky footage of the last rehearsal and then the one and only performance of the Icon Parade which I designed (along with brilliant costume designers Michael Wilkinson and Jennifer Irwin) for the closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympic Games 2000. A big thank you to Brian Thomson designer in chief of the Closing ceremony. There were many designers working on the various segments and 85% of us have all at one time have worked for or been trained by him.
