Pot Raid Near Moose Camp

An area that is believed to be the largest marijuana garden find this season in Shasta County was surrounded by law enforcement Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008 just east of Moose Camp. More than 20,000 and upwards of 50,000 plants were discovered on the north side of Highway 299. Some 8-10 persons were seen fleeing the area. One arrest was made that evening near the Hillcrest Fire station.

"About 20,000" ...two minutes later to his superior "About 30-50,000" LOL. How much did that cost the California taxpayer? About $200,000 for all the equipment and pay for the employees? Oh wait, they get to bill the state without any accountability and an unlimited spending bill for the war on "drugs," let's make it a cool $500,000.
