@sooneaty This morning I took a close look at the plant and now I see that a primary spike is growing from the original orchid close to the old spike. That sounds great to me. A new primary spike, a Keike and a spike on the Keike, now I just need some roots to grow on the Keike. Thanks for your response, stay well!!

Great information because I always wondered how much light that is suitable for orchids. Im getting a new one soon.

Well I am going to try and take a close up picture and see if I can put it as a you tube response. I have never done this. Then you can see if I am correct. And if so, I am on the right track with my orchid! thank you, stay well !!

Oooh so beautiful how your orchids are growing indoors...Mines has stopped blooming and most of them are at the attick to overwinter...I have a few in the livingroom that are still blooming and bought four new ones...I learned a lot from your video's..thank you for sharing. I enjoyed it every time...I bought a Miltonia and the flowers scented like fresh apples..

thanks, I love the gentle fragrance of orchids, it is very delicate and not heavymmmmm fresh apples!

Well, I changed the orchid medium, and watered it nicely about 10 days ago and it looks like I also have a 3 inch primary spike on a keike growing from the old spike, but I still do not see any roots, just some hardy leaves. so I should leave it until I have roots right??? But when will roots grow? I am so scared now!!!! you have beautiful orchids, thanks for this video, stay well

Wow! a spike and a keiki! Love to see a video or picture of it! Dont worry about the roots, the keiki is being fed by the mother plant, you have to wait, and when you have a few healthy roots you can transplant the keiki. Keep going with the watering and fertilising a good light exposure. Doing great.....
