Cute movie. Time and money well spent. Great that it's a true story. I learned more about wine in this movie than I did in the movie Sideways. Two classic Doobie Brothers songs in the soundtrack. 3/5.

He should have just said, "I'm Alan Rickman, and you're not." Alan is so sexy! I can't wait to see this movie and then buy it so I can watch it over and over. Great thing about Youtube is that you can have all of the Alan scenes all smooshed together into one lovely package.

@FrancisRidley Actually four Doobies songs, at the opening, China Grove, when he's lying on the fighting mat with the girl, when he and the girl are driving the "wine snob" around, and then at the end, Listen to the music. It's a great soundtrack!

I loved the movie so much when I saw it that we bought it. Can't remember how I first heard about it but it's good, really good!

I've tasted wine from all over the world, and I can see how the Californians beat the French (not only in this competition, but in several ones after that) ...but I'm living in Sicily now, and the best wine i've had is the homemade house wine served at family owned restaurants here...it may be the volcanic soil, but the Nero D'Avola is amazing
