What we have a free press now? The press is there to report news, that is all. Within the law. Hacking celebrities phones is not news. Watergate was the free press exercised correctly.

Murdoch colluding with politicians and setting political agendas is not a free press.

There is also a difference between people who work in the public eye and those wishing to be famous.

Aye, your right. Some newspaper put a map of it's local area with all the people who owned hand guns addresses on it's web page. Ouch ! Some seriously pissed off Americans after that.

Gun permits are public domain information. I think it's a rather good that some of the media aren't cowed by the NRA.

On Piers Morgan, it's not something I can laugh about. The man is a skunk, but on this one he's got a point, as after the Newtown killings he was directing his venom towards the NRA, a body I find truly loathsome, and whose apologists are the ones behind this publicity stunt, some even claiming Morgan isn't protected under the First Amendment as he's not a US Citizen. I don't want him back here, and if it means he can shake the US out of its insanity over guns, so much the better.

Did you see that about Piers Morgan, the Americans got a petition together to send him back to the UK. Then the UK got a petition together to stop him coming back. LOL

To be fare to the press if you've got to pursue someone Sienna Miller would be right up my street.
