    Yeah. He says in Stepfather II that his dad used to sing it. The 1st film hints that his abusive dad is the reason he's obsessed with finding the perfect family.

    The Stepfather isn't whistling Old Macdonald. He's whistling Camptown Races. But you're right about the original Stepfather being better than the remake. The only remake I liked better than the original was the 2003 TCM remake.

    'Old MacDonald' never sounded more ominous! I just got this movie in the mail from Netflix. One of my favorites! I noticed from others that there was a remake? Why in the Hell would they even attempt that?  That's as stupid as somebody trying to remake a 'Beatles' Song.... What's the point?
