@mbnightsearch1 are you really save? What you listen to doesn't mean that's what you about. If you are saved, then pray for those who aren't. But judge not for.........

Bad ass song YEAH!!!!

im just so amazed at the musicianship, i keep listening closer and closer, and all the instruments layer and weave in and out of each yet go in their own directions...all tied to what is simple as the hands clapping...probably the last instance of good musicianship and dance ever meeting

December 31st 1979 @ 11: 55 PM While sitting in the back seat of a Candy Apple Red 1975 Monte Carlo. Three of My Funk-o-holic Friends were hitting a FAT SACK , and sipping on Barcardi Rum Black Lable. We were getting Ready for the New Years while this was playing. Then IT happened. I heard a Voice say" YOU"RE Gonna Get Saved ! " I said WHO SAID THAT? What YOU talking bout BOB, they said. Well fellas, This Is the Last Time I doing This. May 14th 1979 ... I GOT SAVED In Jesus Name. Amen!

Man, when this jam would come on, the dance floor would fill up at the club. This was and is the kind of song that will make you put your drink down. This song is still the shit!

anyone who can create this sound deserves my salute and heartfelt thanks. I'm already out of my constrictions, and haven't even started dancing yet...

Those were the days, my friends....too bad they had to end.
1978 was a great year for entertainment! This was during my childhood years. On television you had Dallas, Dukes of Hazzard and 3's company. And on the radio you had this jam. When my family wasn't watching these shows we were jamming to this tune.

A true funkateer. I grew up on Parliament, & Funkadelic along w/ Bootsy's Rubberband & The Brides of Funkenstein. This is when music was music & you didn't mind the 12" version. Actually you weren't COOL if you didn't have the 12" version for parties!!!
