  • They're call "fanned frets"

Because on conventional guitars, get out of tune the further down you go on the fretboard, fanned frets make the guitar stay in perfect tune no matter what fret you're playing.

  • the green side of andy's guitar is sexy as hell

  • 0:57 OMG is that David Blaine? Lol

  • @FenrirLupus also allows you to have two different scale lengths.

  • @BoogieBot91 that's true temperament bud. steve vai uses the true temerament frets now. and it's for intonation purposes not tuning problems. The fanned frets make it easier to play because they are angled at a more comfortable degree of your hand.

  • love the devil horns

  • haha i loved that part : "no stairway ?"

    :D

  • Haha aw he's so tired of playing 'Drifting'

  • @olmo2603

If I'm not mistaken I think the guy Michael Greenfield was talking about was Don Ross. In one of Andy's videos he talks about touring with Don Ross and playing a baritone guitar with fanned frets that belonged to Ross.

  • @SeBi2221996 That'd be awesome, but nonetheless it was still really expensive lol

  • @PRSguitarist16 in a video Andy said he only payed half prize

  • but will they blend?
