Rough day at work? Feel like throwing some punches after a run-in with the boss from hell? Enter the USB Boxer. He has his own speedball and counter so you can knock out all your aggression without having a law suit filed against you. Not for the feint (sigh) hearted, this tough-nut is annoyingly addictive. Once you've loaded the simple software onto your computer, a control screen pops up, this records all your punches and sets your scores. Who can do the most punches in the shortest time as the boxer moves around the speedball? You punch with the left and right arrows, and boy do your fingers get tired quickly - how anyone does it for real is a mystery. It's highly addictive and immensely competitive, and has the added advantage of not making you smell like a changing room on a Saturday lunchtime. There is of course more to life than remotely thumping the heck out of a punch bag from the comfort of your desk, but whilst at work we reckon it's a very productive use of your time - and it even comes with ringside sound effects, so perhaps there isn't much more to life after all.
