@titanium tart: interesting that you mention bearing failure.. i was under the impression eggbeaters worked on bushings?? unless you're talking about the new ones, which these are not...

This is actually a terrible way to grease the pedals. If you email CB they even suggest not to re-grease the pedal via the grease port but to strip the pedal down. Problem being that when grease in pumped into the pedal via a grease port, the only way that the grease can get to the other end of the pedal (where you saw it oozing out) is through the seal of the bearing. This force puts undue strain on the bearing seal and is a lovely contibuting factor to bearing failure.

Not.
Pedals are closed, the rest of lubricants removes with the cloth.

You need some oil lubricator and screw that fit thread of pedal.
Screw should drill and slice thread for oil lubricator.
