the two comments below me just make me...lol..I never knew you had to be in a big nice setup to make horseshoes?..In fact I have a trailer that I haul my stuff in..also my small forge if I needed for a special shoe that I would have to make to correct a horse's feet. I'm from Va. and around here in the south most of horseshoeing is done on site at the owners barn or ranch. So for me that is a GREAT setup bro

I knew a jeweler who had hearing problems just from banging the fine metals he was working with. so, I reckon all that clanging would catch up with you on this scale.
Never thought to use my pritchel to start clips. I'll have to try that.
