  • Never thought to use my pritchel to start clips. I'll have to try that.

  • What make/model of forge is that?

  • the two comments below me just make me...lol..I never knew you had to be in a big nice setup to make horseshoes?..In fact I have a trailer that I haul my stuff in..also my small forge if I needed for a special shoe that I would have to make to correct a horse's feet. I'm from Va. and around here in the south most of horseshoeing is done on site at the owners barn or ranch. So for me that is a GREAT setup bro

  • a forge in the back of a truck.

    horrible foreshadowing there...

  • imagine what you could do with a real anvil :)

  • Nice 1 fella!

  • Mobile Blacksmith.....never knew such a thing existed. Cool.

  • hearing protection.. how about hearing protection? gotta look after your hearing.

I knew a jeweler who had hearing problems just from banging the fine metals he was working with. so, I reckon all that clanging would catch up with you on this scale.

  • how do you not close up the concave the way you hit it =/ (you hit it square to the anvil*most times*)

  • if you can't distort the shoe how do you shape it to the whiteline?
