Also, I just recieved the chance to meet Ms. Voight in Cali a few monthsback. She was great and just as accomidating to us singers as Te Kanawa is.

All female singers can be "bitchy" at times. I just know firsthand how Battle can be a real....turd! Second, troll?! Where are you from? Middle earth? I can truly say, having met Deb (yes, we were told to call her that) is a great person but still, a nice core workout would not be admiss despite the timelapse from her surgery and she admitted that herself so who is the troll now, bitch!

@RRydnew Well, having heard Gotterdammerung, I can say she doesn't have any issue with support. Her surgery was 2004. It's ridiculous to suggest that if she misses a note or sounds off it's because of a surgery 8 years ago. Yes, her voice has a different sound, but it certainly worked for Brunhilde.

Regarding personality, you admitted in a previous comment that you'd never met her and now you call her "bitchy." Me thinks you be a bit of a troll, and a very transparent one at that. LOL.

I was speaking of Voight in the fact that since she had that bariatric surgery, she has lost some of the power and fluidity in her voice. She needs to take at least 9 months off and retrain her voice to suit her bodytype. Core muscles are ESSENTIAL to a singer just like a pro athlete. As far as comparing Voight to Battle (I havent, others have) both can be real "bitchy" but I can say personally, Battle is more.....I wont go any further. It wouldnt be nice or fair.

@RRydnew If you're speaking of Voigt, she has a reputation built over 20 years of being one of the kindest, funniest, most down-to-earth sopranos working today. The opera world gossips, and there are many divas who are discussed as not particularly fun to be around. If Voigt was one of them, it'd be all over the blogs. Instead, even those not fond of her singing say she has a great personality.
