I Discovered this song on a movie from the early 80s called 'Midnite Spares'. And Paul Kelly was credited for the track.
Id Love to find the version that was in the movie.

Thanks for posting this - one of my favourite Paul Kelly songs. This should've been played by Christian radio stations all around the country but wasn't because the majority of them have a policy that they will only play Christian-label songs (no mainstream-label music allowed even if the song evinces a Judeo-Christian worldview)
