A former shipbuilding town, Clydebank (near Glasgow), was home to the once world famous John Brown's shipyard. The only remnant of the yard is a 100 year old giant cantilever crane. This has been made into a tourist attraction - and this documentary focuses in the social impact of its conversion from a functional crane to a structure of symbolic significance.
