  • @spotlessmcpartland Actually, I never mentioned Jews or Israel. I brought up the article because you immediately turned the discussion of Yusuf Islam's barbarity to Israel, which has nothing whatever to do with the question at hand. I still enjoy the music of Cat Stevens. But I believe that Yusuf Islam's public call for the murder of an innocent man places him outside the boundaries of civilized society. That you and your friends feel differently is, of course, your privilege

  • @VortecCyclone Apparently, I'm the only one who took the time to read it. Habeeb mentions Jews in his very first paragraph. Also, he never uses the term "self-hating Jews"; that one's on you.

I mentioned Israel, not Jews. Israel is not Judaism and Judaism is not Israel. The words "Jew" and "Israeli" are not synonymous. None of the American Jews with whom I associate - including an immigrant from Israel - agree with your assessment of Yusuf Islam. They're fans too.

  • @spotlessmcpartland Actually, you are the one who brought Israel into the discussion, and I was the one who said it was irrelevant. And I was already aware that there are self-hating American Jews who hate Israel, which is irrelevant to Habeeb's point, let alone our discussion. The point is that by calling for the murder of an innocent man, Islam ceased being a Muslim and joined the ranks of Islamonazis. But I am impressed that you took the time to read the article.

  • @VortecCyclone Perhaps you missed the line in that article in which the author noted that many American Jews disagreed with his support for Israel as much as his Arab associates did.

But you're trying to distract from the subject by dragging this exchange into an irrelevant discussion about Jews. Neither Islam nor Rushdie is Jewish.

  • @spotlessmcpartland Interetingly, I was just reading an article about how Islamist trolls invevitably turn every conversation to Israel. It won't let me post a link, but you can find it at national review online. It's called "Arab Like Me" by Lee Habeeb

  • @VortecCyclone Guess at what? There was no transition.

And if you want to see some sociopathic savages, just look at the current government of Israel.

  • @VortecCyclone They weren't his own words.

The Holocaust did happen, 9/11 has never been fully investigated (interesting that you brought it up), and the world's finances are indeed controlled by bankers - I don't know what religions they may profess to believe.

Obviously, you haven't "got it" and never will.

BTW, the arguments that you're using are employed by zionist trolls all the time.

  • @spotlessmcpartland Of course, it would have been unthinkable for Cat Stevens to publicly call for the death of an author with whom he disagreed. Yusuf Islam could and did. Any guesses on what occasioned his transition from man of peace to sociopathic savage?

  • @spotlessmcpartland Ahh...so his own words, from which he is now trying to distance himself, were the work of Jewish conspirators...they manufactured the newspaper interviews and videos. And I suppose that the Holocaust never happened, 9/11 was perpetrated by Mossad and a cartel of Jewish bankers runs the world. Got it.
