Strange sounds in Hollywood, CA 01/17/2012

*Some people say they cannot hear it in the video. Try with headphones if needed. It is faint and shot with an iphone so I apologize.*

I almost didn't hear this with all the traffic noise constantly by my place until I stepped onto my balcony. I was able to capture it about 4 times if you can hear them all. You may have to turn up the volume. I have no idea what this is. I have lived here for three years, and I hear helicopters, buses, and cars all day and night. It looks like the people on the street didn't notice with the traffic noise, but my neighbor heard it and about an hour after he asked me about it. What is it?

I'm beginning to think people are ripping this sound off "War of the Worlds" and adding it to their videos..only to pass it off as "A strange noise in the sky". I live in Cali and have NEVER heard anything like this. If I ever do I'll be coming back to post I was wrong. BUT, that's never going to happen so, au revoir!
