Live Concert from MIM (Musical Instrument Museum) of Brussels, Belgium, 27.6.08.
The Israeli Early Music Project plays, as encore, Sheppard Blues arranged by the trio.
The IEMP was founded in 2006 in order to promote the early music (c. 1750 and before) by presenting concerts both to the audience in Israel and abroad. Started as the Jerusalem Baroque Trio, made of mandolin, recorder and viola da gamba, the ensemble was leading the early music department at the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance, winning first place at the academy's chamber music competition and performing widely all over Israel several times in prestigious concert programs and radio broadcasts.
During the year 2008 the trio toured London and Oxford, and moved to study at the Brussels Royal Conservatory after receiving a scholarship from the European Union.
The IEMP puts as a goal to itself to perform in Israel's finest festivals and concert venues, as well as in educational concerts in the deep periphery where the early music is completely unknown.
