The Story of Creation in LEGO®. Made to commemorate Catholic Schools Week 2008.

I'm quite amazed at the response that this video has received. The video has been shown in schools and churches. It has been viewed over 18,000 times (as of 7/6/10). I have been contacted by churches and creationist organizations about it. I'd like to clear up some things. I am not a believer in intelligent design. I made this video as a visual representation of a biblical story. This is not to be taken literally at all. I have many opinions about the bible and religion in general. I consider myself an agnostic atheist. For those who don't know what this means, I am a person who does not believe in a God, but I don't deny that there could be. I personally think that creationism is a fundamentally flawed belief.

I have little else to say. I encourage you to take a class in the history of the bible and the context in which it was written. Study science, etc, etc... It's fascinating.

  • @LegoSharkProductions Before we further consider this, I'd like to ask WHY you made a video of something you don't believe in. Also, Merry Christmas! :)

  • First day makes light, third day makes light source... make perfect sense!

  • where did you get the music for this?

  • @woahhitsbriana but where does it say the bible is not to be taken literally? as far as the bible goes, it was open for interpretation.

  • this is very creative and a good story, god bless

  • FACT: The Catholic Church teaches evolution etc. We call it theistic evolution, where we're not to take the book of Genesis literally, and know that the Bible is not made to teach scientific truths. Instead, the Bible teaches theological truths. So, yes, I am a Catholic, and yes, I believe that we evolved from a common ancestor and the teachings of Darwin.

  • Excellent video! I really appreciate this, my little boy loved it!

  • Thanks

  • @XXDDDDDDDD It's garageband loops.

  • @AlanRose23 it's a violin version of Fort Minor's "Believe Me" i think
