Why are Emergency services is america so rubbish. they are given advanced driving courses that can last up to 2 years over here. in america they seem to be worst drivers than the criminals escaping and such.

Completely off-point. But, that little girl is adorable!
"Let's go see what happened....oooooh..They got hurt, really bad"
"This man fell off his bike."

sum body wants to be a new reporter... she did a good job

really, emergency vehicles dont need to go that fast. they might get there a little earlier, but its not worth the risk... its ok though about that car... only a $300 car... but at least the $3,000 rims were ok..

I have no idea of the age of the little girl "reporting" the accident, but I'd like to encourage her to study hard in school, especially in English class. We need good journalists desperately in this country and your enthusiasm, along with a good education can put you at the front of the line to be a top-rank reporter. Good luck!

@ASiggeris ok i that instance then yes the firetruck was in the wrongn

It is true that firetrucks have the right of way, but doesnt mean they are not liable for driving wrecklessly. Firetrucks must slow down at all intersections with a red light. I remember someone in NYC sued the fire dept. and won because the firetruck ran through the red light without slowing down. Sometimes, drivers are already in the intersection and have no idea where the truck is headed or coming from. Sorry, ur wrong about being sued, they are liable if driven wrecklessly

@cwn420...you act th' part of a foolish, sad, mentally blind and flat-noted, ragged fellow, who blabbers to fire-hydrants on street-corners. It is 2011! For the sake of Christ and this nation; Give it up! ...Ennyways. Nice reporting-work, young lady. An' th' jazz said, "New York City" not 2-seconds from the thumb-nail for me... ...how'd I know?! ...Jazz knows th' heart...
Very simple rule of thumb.....it could be YOUR loved one we're on our way to help. Would you want people to delay us?

If you see emergency service personnel going to the scene of an incident or at the scene of an incident, just stay away! Seconds count and the last thing emergency responders need is people standing in the way!
