Alright, sweet job with the OEM light back on. I want the air filter. Brand? Where do I look?

LOL the air filter was a cheapo rice burner filter I found at Autozone. They come in 3 different colors. I bought the red one along with a can of flat black rustolium, and wet sanding type sand paper. The original trim was chrome but I scuffed it up with sandpaper than painted. Neat masking job I might say. The filter actually cost about $23 with tax. However I mounted it on a Hypercharger Spacer ($20) with a large hose clamp that came with the air cleaner

were did you purchace the springer at and did you have to mod the fram at all
nosofast 2 years ago
Midusa . c o m and yes you have to mod the lower tree, for stop, lock stop, brake kit, turn front tire thread back in the right direction after flipping over the brake to the right side. Move tank back about 1 1/4 inches, new risers (or counter sink the ones you have and put longer bolts and cut the clamp in half) Headlight mount. A ton of patience and much tunning of the springs to balance the ride and avoid the wobble effect.

sweet ride, love the retro look.
where did you get the fender
BadHipGuy 2 years ago
I bought a full blank from a fender fabricator on ebay who has stopped selling from what I hear but there are plenty other guys selling on there that will make to your specs. Than you still have to mock it up on the bike and figure out what kind of cut you want to give it. Do some finishing work before primer, than primer paint, etc.
