The fact that you consider my being right is enough for me. Thanks for that. I once believed Scientology to be just a kooky hollywood religion until I started looking into it - the testimony of ex-members, the behavior of the organization, the information presented by long time critics - never have I been so convinced of what I know about Scientology (as an organization rather than a belief system). So the fact that you outright didn't disbelieve is fine. It took hours of googling for me.

Actually that's the whole misconception of Scientology - it isn't a funny belief system of aliens, volcanoes, and alien ghosts. It is run by a very sinister and corrupt organization which has historically used a team of lawyers to take down websites critical of it as well as hiring private investigators to stalk critics to try and intimidate them into silence. Scientology's management does this and so much more, as well as breaking up families and controlling its members. It is a cult.
