1974 Jeep CJ5. 304ci AMC 8Cylinder engine. Full fiberglass tub and front end. Body lift. 34" x 9.5" Super Swamper Tires. Auto Meter Pro Comp gauges. 3 speed manual. Power steering. 21,000 miles on rebuilt engine. I've owned it for 10 years and never wheeled it. It's been a summer street ride for me. I just sold her to a guy named Tony in Maine. I'm going to miss her.....

  • Perfect set up

  • @fiskus211 Yes it was a nice setup. I sold her last spring and bought a 2004 Rubicon. I did a 2.5" OME suspension plus a 1.25" body lift and put some 33" Nitto Mud Grappler tires on her. The new Jeep is set up nicely....but it's not the same. The CJ5 put a smile on my face every time I drove it. The Rubicon is a fantastic modern vehicle. Just not the same...

  • can u give me some advice we have a 76 cj5 with the amc 304 and whenever we stand on the gas and it gets high rpms it sputter and jolt we just had carb cleaned out and we have also got an electric fuel regulator set on 4lbs and im just wondering what would make it do that but really nice jeep and really good price we paid 7500 for ours

  • Sorry weeman,

I'm no mechanic. I pay someone to work on my stuff and don't know the answer to your question. Did you change the fuel filter? Drain the fuel tank in case there is rust particles in there? I'm just guessing as I'm not a mechanic. Mine has had no issues like that other than a fuel pump going bad and that was an easy fix. Good luck....

  • $5,500

It's got a full fiberglass body, AMC 304 8Cylinder, Autometer Pro Comp gauges, 34" Super Swampers. It's been garaged since I've owned it (9 years) and I've never abused it. It's a clean straight ride that was driven by me summer time only. Price is negotiable.

  • @ba3500 It had dual exhaust. I believe they were Flowmaster mufflers. I went did not go with the super loud ones. I wanted a mild sound. It's the 8cylinders that makes it sound good.
