This is simply the most spectacular piece of HO scale mountain railroading since the late, great John Allen. Beautiful layout!!

Are the rock cliffs hand carved or rubber molds? Thank you Robert driver10@mchsi.com

@pageaday Robert,
The rocks are castings made with hydrocal and Woodland Scenics molds. The spaces between the castings are filled with either hydrocal or Sculptamold and carved with a dental pick. Bill R.

@trackspike64 - Thanks for the nice comments. Helping other modelers is fun, but I live in Fort Collins, CO, so in this case it's not too practical. Bill R.

Are these Intermountain Cab Forwards, and if so how do they run? I know some have to be re-motored. Did you have to re-motor these models? If so what motor did you use?

@KI6MIR, Yes, the first two locomotives are Intermountain AC-12s. The last locomotive is a BLI AC-5. I put new Mashima 1833 motors in the IM AC-12s sometime after these videos were made. You can find more details on these modifications on my web page. See the dropdown box under the video for the URL. YouTube will not let me post a URL directly in this reply.
