Read all about it in the bigger, better, sexier 2012 edition of the book, SECRETS OF THE OLYMPIC CEREMONIES by Myles Garcia, now out and available on amazon. It spills all the secrets on how these shows (from Berlin 1936 to Vancouver 2010) are put together. With over 150 photos and images, many of them never before published. Lucky you, hope you have a wide screen camera.

el encendido no fue mucho de mi agrado, me gusto mas el de Sydney Atenas y Barcelona, pero en lo que fueron los fuegos pirotecnicos, nadie les va a ganar a los chinos!!

Great Job. Let us have another view of opening ceremony. Thanks.

It's amazing that they were able to keep the cauldron a secret - it was in view for months! Message me for details and pictures of the cauldron's contruction.
The Opening Ceremonies kicked butt. I definitely felt privileged to have had the opportunity to watch. As soon as it ended I immediately wanted to watch it all over again.
