  • They should really stop producing so huge gasoline engines. Just buy some mercedes commercial diesels with 12 liters of displacement and 580 hp. you'll have 3 times more torque and still get a better fuel economy.

  • not just that i can still tow my friends boat with my f150. people assume that cuz its a v6 it cant tow shit or do shit.

it has about 270 ft. lbs of torque. a 4.6L v8 only has 30 more.

thats the same you'll get from adding an intake and exhaust.

i can cruise easily on the fwy at 65 while towing his boat.

  • no they need to stop mass producing those engines. this car is sold thats why i made the video in the first place, to hear the exhaust when i put it up 4 sale.

    i have a 06 f150 w/ 4.2L v6 and an 06 ram srt10 with the 8.3L

sticker on my srt10 said 9 and 12 mpg, i avg 15. its how u drive.

i get around 22mpg out of my f150. no mods on the dodge, mods on f150 are a k&n air filter, not intake and i use royal purple fully synthetic oil

  • i agree german engines are good, so are japanese, so are italian, so are american. but they're not ALL good.. sorry if i make u realize a flaw in german engineering, but ill say 2 words and im sure ull agree with me. GERMAN DIESEL!!!! LOLOL theyre rubbish!!! German gas engines are great tho. all these countries have great engines for certain applications.. american engines(trucks) only american production trucks can tow 20000+ pounds.. no mercedes.. sry lol bt still, they're all good 4 smting

  • @Mercedes350SDL

Bullshit. Diesel engines may be fuel efficient and have more torque, but they are also much more dirty and so boring ...

  • @MercedesBenzGKlasse

hahaha $8.50.. you did the conversion wrong. 1,60 euros = $2.33

    but i agree with you.

  • @falaqdad15 yeah that's right... They are also expensive here. I didn't know that diesel is priced higher than gas in the US. Here in Germany we pay around 1.60 Euros / Liter for premium fuel, and 1.49 Euros for a Liter of Diesel. That's about 8,50 $ per Gallon. And the reason why we have so many Diesels over here.

But i fully agree with the hobby aspect. Big engines are a nice thing, e.g the cadillac V16 or Packard inline 8.

I am currently selling my MB W124, to get a W140 S class.

  • @MercedesBenzGKlasse

I kind of support your point. and German Engineering is the best. However Merc truck engines are expensive here, and so is Diesel fuel. We have ultra low sulfur diesel fuel, which is generally 50 cents more expensive than even premium gasoline (petrol). Not only that, but having these large gas engines is a hobby to some people.

  • @falaqdad15 Dude were talkin about real truck engines ;) I don't know the weight of such an engine, but i guess it'll weight more than a half ton.

But you can do easier, just get the 420 CDI V8 Turbodiesel. Has 314 hp and 540 lb / feet

Diesel Engines are simply the better choice in big vehicles. More Torque, better fuel economy, lot better reliability. At least im German engineers developed them.

  • @Mercedes350SDL

12 liters? rrrreeeaaallllyy? you can fit that in a pickup? and how much does that fucker weigh?

  • @fireman549549 for 5K more on a v 10 you can supercharge it and it will sound sick and pull anything. now why would you want a shitty smelling over priced fuel over noisey lets copy every one else diesel. BAM! And dont worry about plugging in a gas motor in the winter, it will start any where any time.

  • fuck all you and your diesel real truck is all motor espically mud truck raw power not no turbo shit everyone this so bad ass cuz they have turbo diesel get the fuck out here

  • why would someone buy a gas guzzling, shitty pulling, sorry sounding v10? for 6k more you could have had a diesel

  • it has alot to do with the fact that they are just the modular 5.4L V8 with 2 more cylinders. so the cams, heads, and all that are the same as on a v8.
