This video is in memory of Bruce, my labrador who I had to put down a few weeks ago. The video was made several years ago in his prime. It'w my idea of what he might have been dreaming about - running, swimming, fetching the ball and riding in the truck. He was a great dog and will always be missed.

thanks for this great post. My beautiful black lab had to go to sleep today 11 days short of his twelfth birthday. They are truly a god given gift.

I'm so sorry about your Bruce. He was a very handsome man. I lost my Rusty (a chocolate lab) three weeks ago. He disappeared from our home. And we have tried everything we can to find him. You can see him under "missing in talladega, alabama". You were very lucky to have Bruce as long as you did, it looks like he lived a very long and happy life. I know it's hard to lose one. We are devestated over ours and it's worse not knowing if he is ok. So I keep the thought that wherever he is he's happy.
